I am so sorry that your little one was so sick, but I am so glad that it turned out to be not as bad as it could have been.  He will heel fast, and his poor little butt.  Vicki has trouble with one of hers too, it always fills up, I hate those things, especially when they express them...PU
I know you will be taking good care of him, and in return you will get his unconditional love.

Oh gosh Diane, please tell me this is not going to happen again and again? I don't think my check book could take it. Nor my heart. He is just so small, you worry big time about him.

He had a good night of drug induced sleep and snoring like a big truck driving. (this better go away with the drugs)

Have a great day.

I don't know.  Vicki has had problems since she was a puppy which the vet said was odd for a puppy to start having problems.  The first time I took her in, the vet said nothing about it, but when I was in there 3 weeks later and they were full again, that is when she was concerned.  Jus****ch for Frankie scooting across the floor, trying to bite at his rear, and other symptoms, and if nothing else, maybe take him to the vet for a visit and just have him check his glands, that would prevent it from happening.  What I would do, if go to your vet in about 6 weeks and have him check him, if there is no problem then wait maybe 2 months, go again, still now problem then lenghten the time you go back each time, just some preventative medicine.  Good luck, what a tiny little guy.

Hey did your Vicki have to have surgery for her? Or did they just clean it like normal?

I will watch for all you have said, he goes back to see the vet next friday for his follow up, so I will make sure to take him back in 6 weeks that.

Thank you for your advice...

She has never had surgery, but the Vet said that if her problems continue I may want to think about having them removed.  I don't know if I would do that.  I will just see how she progresses.  As she is getting older, she is now 4, the problem seems to be getting to be less and less.  I would imagine their little butts must hurt like a bad hemmoroid problem.

Hope he is much better by the end of the day.

Poor Frankie.  He is so very lucky to have you to love and watch over him.  Squeezing those nasty glands periodicaly is gro\ss but has to be done.  The worst job i have ever done.  My baby hates it too.  Pet frankie for me.  Oh and pet yourself too.
